If it didn't require $1400, a new computer (at least in order to make it a performance tool) and a working knowledge of an extremely complex piece of software (another $500)... I would probably do just about everything in my power to buy one of these:







That's Tehn rocking out on a Monome 256. Now, an important caveat here is that I currently own and operate 2 modular synthesizers, 2 vintage keyboards, a sampler, a looper and a metric fuckton of effects pedals. Not to even mention mixers, analog sequencers, rack gear, microphones, stringed instruments, percussion instruments, etc... Do I really need more toys?
